With finals coming up, we're all super stressed and often give into the temptation to eat badly. I mean, why not chow down on some gummies or chocolate to keep you awake while cramming for your psych final, right? But you can easily sneak these five superfoods into your daily routine to stay healthy and energized for finals season.

1. Chia Seeds

Chia seeds are one of nature's most plentiful seeds. They're full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. These small seeds can be found in almost every supermarket. Add them in with your granola, put them on top of your yogurt, or eat them with oatmeal, and you'll get a ton of nutrients (without even knowing they're there).

2. Matcha Powder

Ever wonder what makes green tea green? Well, me too. Ever since I found out about matcha powder, I have been high-key obsessed and have added it to pretty much everything. Blend it in with a smoothie or add it to any cup of hot or iced tea. Plus, it's shown to enhance learning and memory and make you calmer, so make sure to load up with it while studying.

3. Goji Berries

Not only do goji berries provide a boost to the immune system and flu protection, they can also facilitate weight loss and provide antioxidants for the eyes and skin. You can eat goji berries raw or add them to trail mixes for a fruity twist, so they're a great on-the-go snack.

4. Kale

Kale is something you can find pretty much everywhere these days. It's rich in vitamins and minerals to keep you energized as you study. Mix some tomatoes, cucumbers, and vinegar in with it for a quick, healthy salad for lunch. Or, crisp some kale up with some olive oil, salt, and pepper in the oven for a healthy snack you can sub for chips.

5. Blueberries

Blueberries are so basic, who would have thought they would be classified as a superfood? Swing by any market, grab a tub of blueberries, and keep them in your fridge to eat as a snack. In the mornings, add them to your cereal or oatmeal and at lunch you can even throw them in a salad for a fruity kick.

These five superfoods are super easy to add to any routine and will help you stay healthy, energized, and motivated for the last couple weeks of school (we're almost there!).
